SBNW Names Tim Cassels Chief Financial Officer
Spokane Valley, WA — State Bank Northwest is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Cassels as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective 2/26/24. Cassels brings a wealth of experience in finance and banking, making him a valuable addition to the executive team.
Cassels is returning to his community banking roots from CFO positions at other area financial institutions. With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Cassels has a proven track record of driving financial performance and strategic growth. His expertise in financial management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance will play a crucial role in furthering State Bank Northwest's mission and objectives.

Cassels holds an MBA from Washington State University and a BA in Business Management from Whitworth University.
Cassels has been involved in leadership with area community organizations, serving as a Former Foundation President and Board Member of Joya (Spokane Guild School and Neuromuscular Center), a board member of the Deer Park Airport Advisory Board, Tri-County Little League, and Western Independent Bankers.
